AI nutrition coach for iPhone

Your AI nutrition coach that remembers the full picture

Snap a photo, send a voice note, or just type what you ate. My Diet Bot turns it into a calorie and macro estimate you review before anything is logged, and it remembers your goals, food preferences and allergies so every reply fits your life.

For adults 18+. General nutrition guidance, not medical advice.

Example conversation: you send a photo of a chicken rice bowl, and your coach replies with an itemized estimate of about 575 calories that you can log or edit.

How it works

Tell your coach what you ate, however is easiest

No food database to search, no barcode hunting. Just a conversation that ends with a clear estimate.

  • Snap a photo

Take or choose a photo of your plate. Your coach picks out what's there and estimates calories, protein, carbs and fat, item by item.

  • Send a voice note

On the go? Say it out loud: “two eggs, sourdough toast and a flat white.” Your voice note becomes a message and your coach takes it from there.

  • Just type

Write it the way you'd text a friend. Ask questions too, like “how much protein do I have left today?” or “what's a light dinner that fits?”

Review before you log

Every estimate is a draft until you say so

You see exactly what your coach counted before anything reaches your journal.

  • Itemized, not a mystery number. Each food, portion and calorie count is listed so you can spot what's off.
  • Fix it in plain words. “It was half a portion,” “no rice,” “add a spoon of olive oil.” The estimate updates.
  • Nothing is logged without you. Tap Log meal, or ask your coach to log it. You can edit or delete logged meals later, too.

A coach that remembers

Context that carries over, and stays in your hands

Name your coach and choose its tone: warm, gentle or direct.

Your coach remembers what matters to you: goals, foods you love or avoid, allergies, and the routines you mention. So you don't have to repeat yourself, and suggestions actually fit.

You stay in charge. See what your coach is keeping in mind, tell it “that changed,” or have it forget anything with one tap.

Gentle goals

Sensible targets. No crash diets, no shame.

Goals are optional. If you want one, your coach explains how it got there.

Your daily needs are estimated with the Mifflin–St Jeor equation and your activity level. You pick the pace: gentle, steady or faster. Targets never drop below a minimum floor, and a heavier day is just a day, not a failure.

See exactly how targets are calculated

  • Gentle

    −275 kcal

    a day · about 0.25 kg a week

  • Steady

    −500 kcal

    a day · about 0.45 kg a week

  • Faster

    −725 kcal

    a day · about 0.66 kg a week

Minimum floors: weight-loss targets never go below 1,300 kcal a day for women or 1,500 kcal for men.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is My Diet Bot medical advice?

No. My Diet Bot is an AI nutrition coach. It gives general nutrition and wellness information and AI-generated estimates. It isn't a medical device and isn't a substitute for a doctor or registered dietitian. Please check with your doctor before changing your diet, especially if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating.

How accurate are the calorie estimates?

They're good starting points, not lab measurements. Photos can hide oils, sauces and portion sizes, so estimates can be off by a meaningful margin. That's why every estimate is itemized and editable before you log it. Learn how estimates work.

Which AI does My Diet Bot use, and what does it see?

We use OpenAI's API for coach replies, photo estimates, voice-note transcription and the read-aloud voice. Only what's needed for each request is sent, and only after you've given permission in the app. Your email address and password are never sent. See the details.

Who is My Diet Bot for?

Adults (18+) who want an easier, kinder way to understand what they eat. It isn't designed for children, for managing a medical condition, or for anyone recovering from an eating disorder.

When can I download it?

My Diet Bot is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone. This page will link to the App Store as soon as it's available.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account. Your account, chat, meals, photos, voice notes and memories are deleted immediately. You can also delete single meals or forget single memories at any time. More about deleting your account.
